Since this novel is written in different points of view, we as readers get to see Cynthia Ann’s situation through a few different sets of eyes. Carolyn Meyer shows us how Cynthia Ann felt upon her return to her white family. She also shares how Cynthia’s white family feels having her back home. Each person’s views are based on the experiences one has gone through. As you read, select one fact and one opinion from the book. Defend your choices with a sentence describing why you feel each statement is either a fact or an opinion.

Dear Miss Tellez, Cynthia Ann dosen’t remember her white family right? Well I think that her family is trying to gaut her memory with what she used to do. So maybe later on in the book she will remember about her white family.

Dear Ms.Tellez ,
I think Cynthia Ann saying she is Nerm is a fact becouse she is telling Lucy that she is someone of a group, I also think that White Hair and Lucy thinking that
Cynthia Ann will change is a opinion becouse they are only thinking.

Dear Miss Tellez,
One fact about Cynthia Ann is that when she was kidnapped back from her white family she was not trying to learn the different ways her white family spoke and how they did their actions. My opinion on that was she proablly was just in shock that now she is back and everybody is staring at her and they are doing some things differently than how she used to do it.

Dear Miss.Tellez,
I feel that Cynthia Ann Parker has learned a lot from her experience with the Comanche tribe, but now it seems that she is learning to acept her true family. As if she wants to stay. She is now losing her Comanche self, as if she is not even aware of it.She is understanding and obeying her family better. She is no more a woman of a Comanche warrior. She is now one of Lucy’s kind.I love this book and I can’t wait for what happens next!

When Lucy’s mom is giving birth it is a fact that Cinty-ann’s tribe sing songs for nurcing woman. But it is a opinion that Cinty-ann should not sing the songs because it is not one of the white mans way! I am really liking this book.I really liked when Cinty-ann was remembering when the indians were coming at kiddnaping her and her brother, and killing dad and uncle. love your wonderfull amazing great teacher loving student,Alexis L.

dear,
miss Tellez
i it was interesting Cinthia Ann left or should i say ranaway.
she was doing fine but sience lucy told Cintha ann she was not a indian i think Cinthia Ann was offended when lucy told her that but if someone told me someone i love is not my family but theirs I would probably be mad and offended like Cinthia Ann . also if the people who say i am from their family take me away from the people i love i would also try to run away and get back to my real family …..
What would you do?

Dear miss Tellez,
In the book, the white people call the Comanche blood thirsty savages. They or let me refraze that I THINK they said that because they are NOT used to living like the Comanche.
